Time and again, I keep disappearing from the ‘SOCIAL MEDIA CIRCUS’. I am just back from a weekend getaway, some place distant from civilisation. Time and again, I keep stressing on the me- time factor. Days spent in the sun with eyes half closed, feeling the hot and humid air, sweating and soaking in the pool water, some conversations with the friends, some silent walks, gazes into the horizon, smiling at the stars, being local with the cuisine, late night gossips and waking up with swollen eyes and heavy heads!
It was an evening, sometime last week, when I headed out for a small me- time at a nearby park. Although the fear of sudden downpour prevailed, I carried a few things and my notepad to hum to my new compositions. The sky was bright and a beautiful spring breeze blowed. A few birds were singing a song, the tune of which is still ringing in my ears and a couple of butterflies wanted to play hide and seek with me. The sky was slowly becoming golden and I couldn’t help praise the ever most beautiful nature. The evening was filled with happiness, joy and most importantly some relaxed vibes. I spotted a few things which are faintly noticed or found in Bangalore, one of which was Elephant apple( Outenga in Assamese) and then my head was filled with the same nostalgic memories of my native place and the people back home whom I dearly miss.
